I’m Kenji Berry, a bilingual (English/Japanese) full‑stack developer specialising in front‑end work. I hold a First‑Class Honours degree in Computer Science from Queen Mary University of London.
I first got into coding by scripting small tools and experimenting with game logic, including building chess algorithms for fun. That early mixture of problem solving and creativity stuck with me, and I love the intellectual reward of solving hard problems and the craft of building things people actually use.
These days I specialise in JavaScript, Next.js, React, TailwindCSS, and Supabase, while deepening my expertise in TypeScript. I’m currently refining Skinergy, a League of Legends skin management platform, using real user feedback to improve its live multiplayer sessions and overall experience.
Having grown up between England and Japan, I’ve seen how different cultures approach design and usability, from dense, information‑rich layouts common in Japan to minimalist, functional styles in the West. That perspective shapes how I build: elegant design balanced with practical functionality.
Outside of coding I enjoy calisthenics, cooking, and video editing. Editing in particular has influenced my eye for pacing, flow, and visual storytelling, skills I often bring into my design and development work.
